To further improve our highest quality anti-embolism stockings, we have developed a flexible film that is wider and thinner than most other available coatings, spreading the forces over a greater area and therefore maximising the performance and comfort of the product. When a product has to stay in place like the anti-embolism stockings, the use of a flexible thin silicone elastomeric is an ideal way to provide the non-slip properties that are necessary. Our anti-embolism stockings have a silicone coating which is comfortable against the skin whilst ensuring the stockings stay in place.
SCD* Sequential Compression Device This is the only compression system offering Vascular Refill Detection technology. Developed as part of ongoing research into stasis prevention, the system is designed to assess and identify each patient’s individual vascular refill time and respond with a personally timed compression cycle to maximize blood flow and minimise stasis.
