Inhalation Therapy

Oxygen is one of the most common therapeutic substances used in the practice of critical care medicine. Medical oxygen however comes in a completely dry state and breathing this for extended periods will lead to dehydration of the respiratory system. Efficient functioning of the lungs is dependent on a moist environment; a compromise could worsen or lead to serious respiratory infections. KENDALL* have developed a comprehensive range of Inhalation Therapy products designed to humidify medical gases during oxygen therapy in both cold and heated forms.

RESPIFLO* WATER Cold Humidification & Nebulisation

This is available in a choice of bottle sizes. The universal connections enable flexibility across the whole range of our systems, whilst benefiting from the integrity of a closed system. Both humidification and nebulisation adapters are available.

AERODYNE* MN Cold & Warm Nebulisation

This range of nebuliser adapters offers the ideal solution for the cold nebulisation of selfventilating patients. The addition of our aerosol heater allows warm nebulisation. In conjunction with our range of pyrogen-free sterile water systems, our nebuliser adapters are easy to use, effective and offer the reduced infection risks of a closed humidification system.

AERODYNE* Advanced Heated Therapies

This range leads the way in humidification. Microprocessor based leading edge technology provides maximum benefits across a broad spectrum of clinical applications. Uniquely, it is able to deliver high temperature and humidity at high flow rates whilst maintaining the benefits of a closed system.

RESPIFLO* AERODYNE* OMEGA PLUS* Ultrasonic Nebulisation

This range provides super saturation ultrasonic nebulisation therapy, either heated or unheated, with a choice of sterile water or Isotonic Saline 0.9%. This compact unit can be mounted on a pole or tabletop, and offers flow and density control over a particulate size range of 1-6 microns.
